We want to thank all of you who supported The
Kirby Band and our affiliate
Ain't Misbehavin', both physically and financially, throughout the year 2025.
Our summer concert series at Kirby Park in Nichols, NY was presented on the
first four Mondays of August. Concerts were of one hour duration.The concerts were very successful
and well received.
The Kirby Band is
believed to be the oldest continuously performing community band in the United States,
having performed annualy since 1876.
The Kirby Band completed the 2025
season with 9 parades and 8 concerts, including 1 mini concert, beginning with Memorial Day parades in
Elmira, and Elmira Heights, NY. Other parades included Candor, NY; Owego, NY; Athens. PA; Sayre, PA; and Waverly, NY. Concerts were
performed in Nichols, NY; Newark Valley, NY, Owego, NY, Sayre, PA and Athens, PA.

Ain't Misbehavin', a band with jazz ensemble
instrumentation, and affiliated with the Kirby Band, performed 12 programs in
2025 with venues in Johnson City, Endicott, Endwell, Newark Valley, and
Nichols, NY as well as Athens and Sayre, PA. Visit their website for information

New Members
The Kirby Band welcomes all the new members who have recently joined. Come
and be part of the Kirby family. Rehearsal is held every Monday night at
the Kirby Band Hall and rehearsal facility formerly known as the "Old Asbury
Church" on West River Road, Nichols, NY, approximately 1 mile west of Tioga
Downs.
